INDUSTRY SOLUTIONS
In any industry sector, integrated solutions are scalable, adaptable, purpose-built, and customized for many common use cases. The processes and workflows to create, manage, and deliver content have similar expectations and requirements and the key driver underlying the content flow is data. Below are some industry solution trends we are seeing.
Information Architecture
A key Risetime differentiator is our experience in Information architecture and the systems and infrastructure to support it. Our approach to Integration Platform as a Service is to use an “information architecture” lens to understand information flows and content lifecycle for your organization. With this as a baseline, functional components can be added or modified for a highly flexible platform.
We have created data models to support manufacturers and retailers with hundreds of categories, products and suppliers. Our focus is a data model to support the data flows today and the added complexities of future technology. Information architecture is the core foundation to support and manage the data models, metadata, security and compliance.
"Headless" DAM
DAM is frequently considered to be foundational to Digital Experience Platforms platforms – the core repository, single source of truth, and central hub for content and rich media. This monolithic view of DAM is giving way to “headless” in which the DAM system has no front end. The DAM functionality can be embedded within adjacent applications or as a purpose-built UI, based on specific user needs. Here are some use cases of multiple workstreams, applications, and content flows where “headless” DAM solutions and Orchestration Engines are being found.
- Product Information (PIM). Managing processes to populate online catalogs with images, data, pricing pulled from Master Data (MDM) and DAM, with analytics and reporting.
- Customer Experience and CMS Personalization. Managing individualized, on-the-fly, highly personalized content to be delivered at the point of interaction, based on the profile, actions, and customer data. Efficient and timely delivery requires the coordination of different systems and applications to create a compelling and engaging customer experience.
- FDA compliance for Life Sciences and Pharma. These use cases involve chain of custody management, medical-legal-regulatory (MLR) review, audit trails, licensing, rights, and usage information through active governance.
Orchestration Engine
Orchestration in DAM means content and media can move, transform, and conform based on the data, path, and destination. Risetime addresses content and metadata flows across platforms and applications by providing integrated and interconnected components to orchestrate that flow in complex environments. A DAM orchestration engine enables orchestration requirements using your existing DAM or migrating to a new one. It addresses a specific use case or helps rationalize a company’s information architecture to solve systemic issues and optimize the content flows for people, processes and technology.
Syndication & Distribution
The explosion of content distribution channels requires sophisticated content syndication, whether eCommerce, CMS, streaming media or more. Some companies syndicate their own content to multiple distribution points, managing dynamic, scheduled delivery and notifications to keep it online. We have helped companies develop their own “Formula One” engines for in-house syndication and outsourced to content syndicators. Solid information architecture and partner experts allow your content to move at the speed of business.
